The multiple award-winning documentary musical travelling the length of Dublin's fabled North Circular Road, where local characters share their powerful and emotive stories, accompanied by traditional ballads and folk music. North Circular conjures the ghosts of the past while engaging with the conflicts and celebrations of today, with a spooky folk-horror mood and a little bit of Dublin humour too.

Call Me Mommy - Short Film

Call Me Mommy directed by Phibsborough native Tara O’Callaghan, uncovers the fascinating story of a single mother who turned to online sex work during the covid-19 pandemic to support her family. 
Selected for Sundance Film Festival 2023 and winner of Best Short Documentary at the 34th Galway Film Fleadh. 
The film documents Sinéad Connell and her life as a mature sex worker. It explores the themes of sex, age and motherhood in the many places that it can appear. 
Produced by Motherland, the film delves into the various origins and effects of ‘mommy issues’ in Sinead’s personal and professional world - painting an intimate portrait of a modern day sex worker.

Unshaped Form present The Farthest

Described as ‘An intimate love letter to science and technology’ by Escape into Film, “The Farthest” is a multi-award, Emmy winning documentary from Irish writer and director Emer Reynolds. For Phizzfest, musicians Lioba Petrie & Cameron Doyle - Unshaped Form, will bring a very special shortened version of the documentary with a newly composed live score performed to screen and with special guests Sam Perkin and Richard McCullough. The observatory and grounds can be explored before or after the 3pm performance. Access to DIAS Dunsink Observatory either by Hamiltion Way Walking Route via Royal Canal or by car Dunsink Lane.

Jack Dempsey Mc Mahon (aka "Djackulate") is a 2 X time world champion turntablist, multi-instrumentalist and sampling composer from Dublin. With an equal passion for ancient folkloric pipe music, wind synths and vinyl manipulation, his music is a unique marriage of an oddly wide range of musical influences and eras.

Colm Olwill (aka Dj PCP) grew up on ballads and beats. He's a mainstay of Irish and English festivals, running the Gramophone Disco and The Haunt venues at the Electric Picnic and the hole-in-the-ground piano bar at Glastonbury. Playing and running raves, free parties and clubs since the early ’90s. With a passion for developing new concepts in DJ’ing and using DJ’ing to create innovative musical juxtapositions to shock and delight.
